Paint For Paws: Brushing for a Cause

Meet Tom and Sam, two siblings with a shared passion for both art and animals, who embarked on a heartwarming journey to make a difference in their community. Growing up on their family farm, surrounded by a menagerie of creatures big and small, they developed a deep appreciation for the beauty and importance of animal welfare. 

 

Inspired by their furry friends and armed with paintbrushes, they founded "Paint for Paws," an organization that will donate a portion of each painting sold to raising funds for animal shelters and rescues. 

 

Their initiative not only showcases their artistic talents but also reflects their unwavering commitment to making the world a better place for animals. Through "Paint for Paws," Tom and Sam have transformed their childhood dreams into a meaningful endeavor that touches the hearts of both humans and animals alike.

Words from the founders:

"We have had animals our whole life and even rescued some off the street. We take care of our donkeys, pigs, and goats before school everyday because we love them. Inside the house we have five dogs, two cats, and three birds. Our cats were both found on the streets, one on the highway and one in Newark, New Jersey."

"We recently rescued a dog from an old lady's house. She was in surgery and left her dog in the dust. The door was left open for 2 months and their dog suffered in the harsh winter conditions. His nails were growing into his paws. Thankfully we gave him love and fixed him up. He never looked better. In 2022 our chickens and ducks were mauled by a racoon which devastated us. We have since rebuilt the coop and now are back up to six chickens! 

When we have excess eggs we give them to our family members. Although we have a little farm and have saved less than 5 animals, our love for animals grows every day. We hope to save every animal we possibly can."
